Materiality & Architectural Language To resolve the dramatic grade changes, the spatial arrangement utilizes expansive, terraced sandstone platforms. These robust natural stone elements introduce a refined, contemporary geometry that anchors the outdoor spaces. At the entrance, a bespoke water feature is integrated into the arrival sequence, providing a sense of tranquility and fluid movement that softens the structural hardscaping.
Light & Botanical Curation The site layout is strategically optimized to capture and amplify northeast sunlight. Harmonizing with the home’s Modern Californian aesthetic, the plant palette focuses on soft, light-toned foliage. Silver-leaved and pale botanicals are meticulously selected to thrive in the sun-drenched orientation while reflecting natural light, ensuring the residence maintains a bright, airy, and sophisticated coastal atmosphere.
材質語彙：現代幾何與流動感 為了化解巨大的地形落差，空間佈局大量運用大面積的砂岩（Sandstone）構築階梯平台。堅硬且具質感的天然石材界定了整齊的現代幾何線條，穩定了整體戶外空間。在主入口處，我們特別設計了水景（Water Feature），在歸家動線中引入流動與寧靜感，柔化了硬質景觀的銳利度。
植栽策略：光影優化與色調美學 整體景觀佈局精準優化了來自東北方向的日照。為完美呼應建築的「現代加州風」，植栽選擇上聚焦於淺色調與銀灰色系植物。這些精心挑選的植物不僅能適應陽光充沛的微氣候，更能透過葉片折射光線，將加州風格中那種明亮、通透且充滿度假感的空間氛圍發揮到極致。
