At the heart of Velour’s philosophy is the concept of a “scented journey”—a curated exploration of seven cities, each celebrated for their unique aromas and cultural atmosphere. Through storytelling, visuals, music, symbols, color palettes, and a refined blind box packaging concept, Velour transforms fragrance into an emotional experience.
The name Velour is rooted in the word velvet, reflecting softness, luxury, and timeless appeal. It also nods to a rare plant with a velvety texture, soft aroma, and a silvery-blue hue—a sensory plant that captures the essence of Velour: memorable, layered, and sensorially rich. Like this plant, the Velour experience is designed to linger in your memory, touching your sight, smell, and touch.
A key highlight of Velour’s design is its signature “exploding box” blind packaging—a multi-sensory unboxing experience that delights and surprises. From the outside, the minimalist packaging—soft gradients of white to grey—hints at mystery. Though the city name and theme (e.g., First Love in Melbourne) are printed, the true essence is hidden. Upon opening, the box bursts open to reveal a vibrant explosion of colors, patterns, cultural details, and of course, the signature scent—a moment of surprise and wonder that stimulates the senses.
The Velour design journey was crafted over time with deep attention to detail, emotion, and global storytelling—bringing together the sophistication of luxury fragrance, the intimacy of personal scent memory, and the playfulness of artistic blind box design. Velour is not just a fragrance; it’s a passport to unforgettable scent-inspired journeys.

Velour 的名字來自絲絨 velvet 的詞根,更是一獨特植物(葉子上有輕微香味,以及絲絨手感,顏色灰白偏藍)的拉丁學名。這種植物獨特在無論視覺,嗅覺,觸覺,都帶給人極為衝擊而又細膩的記憶,就像與品牌宗旨一樣,去了一場獨特的旅行。
首先是「盲盒/爆炸盒」的包裝設計,是豐富顧客體驗的最重要一環之一:包裝外表雖然寫有城市的名稱及故事( 例如 First Love in Melbourne ),面對白色/灰色漸變的極簡主義包裝,卻是難以想像 Melbourne 的色彩。但當包裝打開的一刻,盒子的結構四散,爆炸式的一次填滿打開者的視覺感官(色彩,圖騰,城市故事的細節)及嗅覺感官(來自城市的味道),以及一次小小的驚喜。
